Ephesus - Terrace Houses

Bülbül Dağı eteklerindeki teraslar üzerine yapılmış evlerde kentin zenginleri oturuyordu. Evler açık peristil bir avlu etrafına iki katlı olarak inşa edilmiştir. İlk inşa tarihi M.S. 1. yüzyıl olarak belirlenen evler, daha sonraki yıllarda çeşitli ilave değişikliklerle şehir terk edilene kadar kullanılmıştır.
Evlerin tabanları mozaikler, duvarları mermer kaplama ve fresklerle dekore edilmiştir. Evlerin içinde çeşmeler ve yerden merkezi ısıtma sistemleri bulunmaktaydı.
