Ataturk Mausoleum, the leader of Turkish War of Independence and the Republic of Turkey founder and first president, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, in Ankara Anittepe (formerly the Rasattepe) is the mausoleum.

The fourth president, Cemal Gursel, was also buried in the martyrs section of the revolution in 1966 (in accordance with paragraph 1, paragraph 2 of the State Cemetery Law, dated 27 August 1988). Since 1973, the tomb of Ismet Inonu is in Anitkabir.
