Born in Yozgat in 1980, the fourth child of a family with a culinary background, the chef completed his entire education, including primary and secondary schooling, in Yozgat. Throughout his professional life, he has not viewed the kitchen solely as a commercial field, but has instead focused on contributing to the development of Turkish cuisine. This approach has allowed him to expand beyond Turkish cuisine, conducting extensive research and applications in world cuisines.
Having managed several prestigious restaurants in Istanbul, the chef later implemented his knowledge and experience at Nart Cafe Restaurant. Here, he has combined modern gastronomic approaches with traditional flavors, undertaking significant projects, particularly focusing on Circassian cuisine.
He reinterpreted Haluj, a traditional Circassian dish, preserving its historical texture while incorporating modern culinary techniques. The resulting "Grilled Eggplant Haluj" quickly gained widespread acclaim. This unique creation received high praise from both Circassian guests and those with diverse palates.
The restaurant offers a rich variety of fish dishes from the region; Nart Cafe Restaurant offers guests a selection of exquisite flavors from Turkish and world cuisines, blended with innovative and traditional meze options. Furthermore, fresh herbs grown in the restaurant's own garden are used in its grilled dishes; special marinating and cooking techniques ensure that the natural flavor and juices of the products are preserved before serving.
This approach, which combines traditional culinary culture with a modern gastronomic understanding, makes Nart Cafe Restaurant a unique and distinguished culinary destination.
