Lake Seben, with its approximately 22-kilometer shoreline, depth reaching 14 meters, surface area of 8.3 square kilometers, and water storage capacity of 50 million cubic meters, is one of Bolu's important water sources. Besides its natural beauty, the lake contributes to the energy infrastructure of the Seben district and enables the irrigation of approximately 40,000 decares of agricultural land in the plain.
Attracting attention with its natural structure and impressive scenery, Lake Seben is gaining more and more interest in tourism every year. Thanks to its surrounding plateau houses, clean air, and tranquil atmosphere, it has become an attractive destination for nature lovers, photographers, anglers, campers, and day-trippers. The region's tourism potential is expected to increase even further in the coming years.
