Mem-u Zin Tomb, Located in the Dağkapı neighborhood of Cizre district, Şırnak province, within the walls of Cizre, lies the tomb of Mem-u Zin in the basement of the Abdaliye Madrasa. The tomb, along with the madrasa, was built in 1487 by Emir Abdal Ibn-i Abdullah Seyfettin Boti.
Accessed by stairs from the madrasa, the tomb's walls are made of black basalt stone. A hole has been made in the tomb to allow rainwater to enter. Inside, there is a sarcophagus, and it is visited by the public.
There are three graves inside: belonging to Zin, Bekir, and Mem. The Mem-u Zin love story is a tale of divine love. This love story took place during the reign of Emir Zeynuddin, the Bey of Cizre, in the year 854 AH (1450-1451).
