Hillar Caves are at 7km south west of Ergani.
The certain wreckages over the rocky ground are; the acropolis over the highest hill at the southeast part of the rocky ground, castle on the escarpment region at the south of Hilar village, khan with 3 wide sections and 7 columns at the east side of the rocky ground, an ancient grave room at the entrance of the khan, and also a grave room, used as small mosque.
There are many grave rooms around the rocky ground. There have been reliefs in Rome style, Sami epigraphs, and figures in Iran style.
