Rose Valley—commonly known as Güllüdere Valley—is one of Cappadocia's characteristic valleys, situated between the Göreme and Çavuşin areas of Nevşehir. The valley's current appearance is the result of Cappadocia's geological history spanning millions of years. The region was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1985. Thanks to 360° panoramas captured from a hot air balloon in 2011, it is possible to view the valley floor, rock formations, agricultural fields, footpaths, the area surrounding Çavuşin and Göreme, and the vast topography of Cappadocia from the balloon's high vantage point.
